This image shows the contrast between the fake set up of the sky and world for these monkeys, to the real world. It again puts the zoo in a bad light as it creates this unnatural fake appeal to the set up of the enclosure. The animals do not seem excited or interested in their environment but more interested in what the people are doing looking at them. They are purely engaged on the outside world. It is really quite sad to see, as this is not the view of the zoo you want to come across. When photographing I need to be careful to try and make the animals not concentrated on us or the visitors, they need to look as if they are in their own world, immersed within their group.
